Cliff regrading is where the gradient of the cliff is reduced so that damage of costal erosion is reduced as the destructive waves with just go up the cliff and just back again.how a disadvantage of  cliff regrading is that local homes are required to move so that they can reduce the gradient there, this either means the local council will have to rehome or give out compenstation to home owners.
