Coastal Landsacpes

Once upon a time all the costal areas  were underwater. Nearly all land was underwater. Now the tides haven't settled though, sediment is still being deposited on the shore. The tidal range is the vertical difference between the high tide and low tide, the tidal range determines the range over which the sediment is deposited/eroded.
