Tidal

Tidal Energy is a type of renewable energy that converts the kinetic energy of tides going in and out into electricity ; mainly electricity (some can be lost through friction with the water which make heat).

This type of energy is not yet widely used however it has potential as a future energy resource.

Tides are more predictable than the weather. However there is a limited availability of sites and there are has high costs.
